Exciting new updates are underway! The BIG Idea team is super excited to highlight the new and important changes happening for the BIG Idea 2024 Competition.

Here are some of the important updates happening this fall!

• New Pre-registration Deadline. All students and advisors must create their accounts by Thursday, October 24, 2024. The deadline for final entries will still be Thursday, October 31, 2024.
• New Element – Each entry will be required to create and record a 30-60 second video to pitch their product/service. This one-take video must be able to be saved in a format that is sharable. A shareable link for the elevator pitch will be required in the entry.
• Inspiration & Sources – This section will again be included for students to give judges a deeper understanding of the student’s inspiration for their project as well as their sources they used!
• New Entry Platform – This year we have been very hard at work to create an entry platform that is seamless for students, teachers, advisors, and judges to use. There will be more in-depth updates coming about this soon. But for now we just wanted to plant the seed!
